Oh! to be able to even become close to her playing of this work of exquisite beauty, longing and pleasure!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/purechocolate.org.uk\/music_other\/chopin\/Nocturne_27_2.ogg\"><\/audio><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Chopin Nocturne Opus 27 nr 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/nwc-scriptorium.org\/db\/chonoc_27_2a.id\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Noteworthy<\/a>(a) <a href=\"https:\/\/nwc-scriptorium.org\/db\/chonoc_27_2a.id\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Noteworthy<\/a>(b)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A wistful nocturne, but longing for distant lands?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/purechocolate.org.uk\/music_other\/chopin\/Nocturne_37_2.ogg\"><\/audio><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Chopin Nocturne Opus 37 nr 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/nwc-scriptorium.org\/db\/chon37_2.id\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Noteworthy<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A light and apparently carefree nocturne, but listen carefully and ask: what is going on here?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/purechocolate.org.uk\/music_other\/chopin\/Nocturne_72_1_op_posth.ogg\"><\/audio><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Chopin Nocturne 72 nr 1 <a href=\"https:\/\/nwc-scriptorium.org\/db\/chon72_1.id\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Noteworthy<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A solemn nocturne &#8211; there is much passion here but resolving into a stillness reminiscent of the quietness of the early hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/purechocolate.org.uk\/music_other\/chopin\/Nocturne_Csharpmi_op_posth.ogg\"><\/audio><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Chopin Nocturne C#mi Op posth <a href=\"https:\/\/nwc-scriptorium.org\/db\/chopnoccsmi.id\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Noteworthy<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On a first hearing the F# in this delightful nocturne should penetrate the air like the sound of a bell in the still air at 1am.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/purechocolate.org.uk\/music_other\/chopin\/Nocturne_Cmi_op_posth.ogg\"><\/audio><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Chopin Nocturne Cmi Op posth <a href=\"https:\/\/nwc-scriptorium.org\/db\/chocmi.id\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Noteworthy<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Atmospheric is a rather contemporary description of this delightful little piece, but even so I fail to understand the 3-4 section.
